About

Ruth Haldon

Ruth Haldon’s jewellery is available across the UK. You’ll find her Jewellery in some of the UK’s most vibrant cities and visitor focussed locations - including Durham Cathedral, National Glass Centre - Sunderland, and Lincoln Cathedral.

Working from Co. Durham, Ruth designs and produces beautiful and unique jewellery using only the best quality beading components, threading materials, and sterling silver findings. After studying Graphic Design at college Ruth moved into display becoming a Visual Merchandising Manager for 16 years in a large, high profile, department store group.

Her career took a new direction in 2004 when she began her own business making abstract watercolour paintings and greetings cards, along with one-off jewellery pieces. The jewellery took off, and Ruth has since refined her jewellery and ranges, and developed a strong customer base.

Colour, balance, and fashion are hugely important and with an eye to select the highest quality beads and stones Ruth can see which elements work well together, making the most of the gorgeous beads. “I love my job! I think I was probably born wearing jewellery and I can’t believe how lucky I am, to be able to design, make and sell my work to others, who love it too.” Ruth’s love of jewellery has driven her to produce quality pieces to suit everyone’s taste and pocket.

Ruth Haldon is proud to be a member and support the aims and objectives of the trade organisation ACID (Anti Copyright in Design). All Ruth Haldon designs are supported by ACID through their Copyright & Design Databank and ACID Marketplace.
